The CD-ROM in progress intends to give an overall survey of the
arcaeological collection of the Savaria Museum representing the
research of the first half of this century. It means the textual
description and the visual representation of some five hundred
clay pieces and five thousand metal objects. In every case, wherever
possible, we give the former inventory number or numbers. They
are represented by some pages of inventories coming from different
periods. If the object has been published we refer to the first
date of publication or the easiest source of access.

We plan, however, to collect the objects in book form, but, because of technical reasons, we cannot put all the pieces in the book. This is where the CD-ROM can satisfy our righteous claim. |
