At Korlát-Ravaszlyuktető site 125 square metres were unearthed in five excavation seasons. The archaeological finds attest to the existence of an extensive workshop. They appeared in a single layer, which, however, reached even 1 metre in the western part of the excavated territory where ravines segmented the territory in a south-north or an east-west direction. In the eastern area, at the same time, a bench of limnic quartzite appeared, on top of which a similarly rich workshop activity was registered as in the western area. Despite the fact that the raw material of the bench and the workshop activity was the same, local extraction could not be demonstrated.

The total number of the finds is over seven thousand including raw material blocks, cores, flakes, blades and waste material and relatively few characteristic tools. The tools are mostly of an upper Palaeolithic character, although bifaces of middle Palaeolithic appearance also appeared and a few tools (end-scrapers, wedges) show Neolithic or Copper Age features.

From the relatively rich workshop material about 450 refittings could be made, which means that about 20% of the finds could be refit. The paper will illustrate a few characteristic examples.
