HUNGARNET
Summary:
HUNGARNET - It is the network and at the same time, society of the
Hungarian Academic sphere. The Association rooted in the IIF (later: NIIF)
project, i.e., National Information Infrastructure Project (more on the
subject from NIIF Homepage, http://www.iif.hu
On the 26th of June, the Museum Section was founded within Hungarnet.
The main task of this Section is to represent special museum interest
within the HUNGARNET Association and promote networking.
There are so far 40 museums who belong to HUNGARNET: from these, 14 museums
were represented on the meeting.
Representatives were elected for one year:
Chairperson: Katalin T. Biró, Hungarian National Museum
Secretary: Miklós Rajczy, Hungarian Natural History Museum
Coordinator: Beatrix Tóth, NIIF
