Dr. Miklós Cseri
Ethnographer, director of the Open Air Museum of Ethnography - Sknazen, Szentendre.
He studied at KLTE University, Debrecen, majoring history and ethnography, received PhD in 1995. From 1981 he was museologist in Ottó Herman Museum, Miskolc, from 1987 on researcher in the Open Air Museum of Ethnography in Szentendre, director since January 1st 1996. He is lecturer in Janus Pannonius University, Pécs and ELTE University, Budapest. He is President of ICOM Hungarian National Committee (2002-2008, 2011.), member of ICOM Advisory Board, European Open Air Museums' Association (1991.member of the Board, 1997., president: 2003-2007.), Pulszky Society - Hungarian Museums' Association - vice president, (1996.); National Museums’ Association (board member 2005-2009, president 2010.) secretary of the Committee of Ethnography of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, founder of Rotary Club, Szentendre. His major field of activity is life of lesser nobility, folk arhitecture, museum management. His awards: 1991 – Jankó János Award, 2000 – Pro Urbe Szentendre, 2002 – Móra Ferenc Award, 2003 – Royal Belgian Crown Order, 2008 –Freeman of Szentendre.

Dr. Beatrix Basics
Art historian, professor of art history at Corvinus University Budapest, former deputy director of Budapest History Museum.
She studied at ELTE University, Budapest, majoring English language, literature and art history. She began to work in the Hungarian National Museum. From 1995 onwards she was head of the Historical Gallery. From 2004 2010 she was deputy director of Budapest History Museum. Her major field of research is 18-19th century art. She has almost two hundred publications and organized several exhibitions home and abroad. She is President of Pulszky Society - Hungarian Museums' Association’s Art History Department. In 2000 she won the Society for Archaeology and Art History’s Pasteiner Award for her scientific activity. She is board member of ICOM Hungarian National Committee (2006-2009, 2010 –)

Csilla E. Csorba
Art historian, director of the Museum of Literature Petőfi.
She studied at ELTE University majoring French language, literature, history and art history. From 1975 onwards she worked in the Literary Museum, from 1983 onwards head of the Art Collection, from 1996 onwards deputy director and from 2005 director. Between 1991-1996 she lived in Germany. From 1977 onwards she organized several exhibitions in the fields of literature, arts and photography. His major field of research is literary cult, iconography, illustration and photography and is author of several books and studies. She is lecturer of museology (ELTE University). From 1985 onwards she regularly took part in ICOM ICLM conferences. Between 1998-2000 member of the leadership of ICLM (International Committee for Literary Museums) In 2007 she gave a lecture in the Vienna AVICOM conference. In 2009 she organizes ICLM conference in Budapest. From 2008 onwards she is president of the Society for Hungarian Literary Memorial Houses. Executive chairman of Pulszky Society - Hungarian Museums' Association (2011–). She is board member of ICOM Hungarian National Committee (2006-2009, 2010 –)

Zsuzsa Ferenczi
She studied economics and from 1977 on she was active in the fields of cultural affairs in different institutions as the Műcsarnok (Art Gallery), the Center for Museums and Restoration, Museum of Literature Petőfi and from 1994 till now the Budapest History Museum. In the last three institutions from 1981 onwards she was and is the Finance Director. From 1981 onwards she is responsible for the financial affairs of the ICOM Hungarian National Committee.

Dr. Henrietta Galambos
Jurist, head of the Legal and Registrars’ Department of the Museum of Fine Arts.
Between 1996-2001 she studied at József Attila University of Sciences, Faculty of Law, Szeged, general law studies plus special studies in European law. Received a diploma in Law. In 2005-2006 specialized in European Union Law, Institute of Art and Law, London, UK, received a diploma in Art Law Policy and Management. She began to work in the Szépművészeti Múzeum, (Museum of Fine Arts) Budapest in the field of legal activities in connection with the loan of works of art. From 2005 onwards she is Head of Legal and Registrars Department working out standards and encouragement of legislation in the member states in the field of immunity from seizure of works of art. From 2006 onwards she is co-chair of the European Union working group on immunity from seizure, from 2008 onwards co-chair of the European Union sub-working group on state indemnity/insurance/non-insurance working out standards and unification of legislation in the field of state indemnity/insurance/non-insurance. She is board member of ICOM Hungarian National Committee (2010 –).

Dr. László Horváth
Historian. director of the County Museum in Szolnok.
He studied history at ELTE University, Budapest. In 2003 he recived PhD in Debrecen University. From 1988 onwards he worked as a historian in Mátra Museum, Gyöngyös, from 1993 onwards he was director of the Lajos Hatvany Museum in Hatvan. From 2002 onwards he is director in Szolnok. He is member of the directory of MAMUTT (Society for Museum Historians) and the MMISZ (Society for the County Museums). As a historian of the modern period his main field of research is the peasant migration and religious history, lately traffic history.
Member of Pulszky Society - Hungarian Museums' Association, Leader of Ethics Committee (2011–). He is board member of ICOM Hungarian National Committee (2006-2009, 2010 –)

Dr. Mária Mihály
Deputy Director of the Museum of Fine Arts, Budapest.
She studied Italian and Hungarian languages and literature at József Attila University of Sciences, Szeged, later history at ELTE University, Budapest. Before becoming deputy director of the Museum of Fine Arts, she worked at Savaria Museum, Szombathely, and from 1981 until 2000 she held various positions at the Ministry of National Cultural Heritage on the fields of museum administration and protection of cultural property. During her career, she was also involved in questions of accession to the EU as she participated on the accession negotiations representing the interests of Hungary concerning cultural property. She deals with problems of international agreements on the protection of movable cultural property, Hungarian and EC-legislation, museum marketing, reorganization of the Museum and particularly with the restitution of works of art seized during World War II. She is board member of ICOM Hungarian National Committee (2007-2009, 2010 –), as well as member of the Hungarian UNESCO Committee.

Dr. Imre Szatmári
Archaeologist, director of the County Museum in Békéscsaba.
He studied archaeology and history at József Attila University of Sciences, Szeged. He started to work in Mihály Munkácsy Museum, Békéscsaba. From 1990 onwards he was Head of the Department of Archaeology, from 1996 onwards deputy director, from 2001 onwards he is director. In 1991 he finished his dissertation of archaeology, in 2003 he received PhD of ethnography. Major fields of research: development of settlements in the Alföld region in the Middle Ages, medieval villages, churches and cemeteries, archaeological ethnography of medieval cemeteries, medieval objects (stove tiles, reliquary pectoral crosses). He is member of several scientific and museum organizations. He is board member of ICOM Hungarian National Committee (2007-2009, 2010 –)

Dr. Emese Szoleczky
Historian, senior curator, deputy head of the Paper basic Document’ Department, Military History Museum.
She studied Hungarian language and literature, and history at ELTE University Budapest. Between1978-1991 she is member of the MoD Military History Institute and Museum’s Public Relations Department. Special interests: accessibility in public collections, disabled visitors’ possibilities in museums, accessibility of exhibitions. Since 1992 she was curator of the Collection of Manuscripts, between1996-2006 she was head of the Paper-based Documents’ Department. In 2005 she received PhD in History. Major fields of research: history of the border fortress of Huszt; history of border fortresses; history of culture in Hungary (16th-20th centuries), Hungarian military lifestyle (16th-20th centuries)
Memberships: Pulszky Society - Hungarian Museums' Association, several Hungarian scientific and museum organizations; ICOMAM and CIDOC within ICOM. She is board member of ICOM Hungarian National Committee (2006-2009) secretary (2010 –).

Dr. János Tari
Head museologist in the Néprajzi Múzeum (Museum of Ethnography), Budapest.
He studied at ELTE University, Budapest, majoring Hungarian language and literature, ethnography and sociology. At the Academy of Theatre and Film, Budapest he received a director’s diploma. In 1990-1991 he studied at the National Film and Television School UK.
1996-2001: ELTE PhD, comparative folklore
He gives lectures of visual anthropology at ELTE University, Budapest and at the University of Szeged.
He is president of the Hungarian Ethnographic Society’s Film Department, member of the Raffael program of the EURORÉGIO and vice-president of ICOM-AVICOM International Committee for the Audiovisual and Image and Sound New Technologies. He is board member of ICOM Hungarian National Committee (2010 –).
